He got up fast and was taking leather all round and could have been stopped anytime if Bute could have been stoppped too_Or Mayorga with Trinidad in the 5th and in the 8th before he was stopped. Please give it up with the he ''ould have been stopped before he went down'' ****.Btw told you B-Hop would win.And yes the pic is nice.Taken recently on a fishing trip of Adi's.

Dam. Bute was really messed at the end of that fight. With all the controversy, I say let there be a rematch.

You're supposed to be able to continue to avoid being counted out, so what if he was on his feet - he's leaning on the ropes. They normally make him go one step towerds the ref, and Bute coudn't do it. Look at his eyes - he is gone. Besides, even if he had made the count, had the ref not stopped counting Andrade would still have had 10 sec to KTFO him in.

Robbery. Oh, And the Andrade kd earlier in the fight was clearly a push + Bute should have points deducted for grabbing Andrade's leg.

Thunder, I love you bro but for the love of christ you can't conciously compare scenarios as far as Pavlik and Bute. They are polar opposites!!! Accept it homie Bute lost this fight fair and square and was given a gift:deal I picked Bute to win a very close fight. But lets face it bro he was a beaten man and shouldve lost.
Yes you were right as far as Bhop was concerned, no excuses bro Bernard looked fantastic:good

Either you're taking the **** or you have a pretty flexible definition of being up... Without the ropes Bute would not have been standing. He was unfit to continue and the fight should have been stopped.

No they shouldnt have..there is a very distinct difference between being "out" and on your feet or down and being floored. This is a historical universal bro:deal

He would have been standing but not in a suitable manner for continuing a prize fight

Pavlik was clinching and getting hit and stumbling about all round after he was floored and Mayorga let his chin in the ring that night. No stoppages there or here

I'll settle on 'we don't know whether he would have been standing or not'... But we agree that he would not have been in a condition to continue. And that's the important bit.

You just proved my point for me bro. Pavlik was clinching, fully aware that he needed to defend himself. Bute was not able to even clinch or barely stand when all is said and done. That my friend is the very distinct difference:good

It's **** refereeing, but park all this "Andrade won the fight stuff". That's from the point of view of the man who scored the knockdown. From the point of view of the man on the mat - one thing, beat the count, rise before the ref says "10". If he does that - regardless of the circumstances - he hasn't lost.

Until the referee says "10" the man on the ground is not beaten, is not knocked out. These are the rules of boxing.
