Bute beat the count clearly. That shouldn't be the issue.
Whats important is that Bute was completely finished and should've been stopped by the ref. It seems very obvious to me that the ref was just using delaying tactics to see Bute through to the end of the round. A clear case of hometown bias and corruption.
A non corrupt ref would've taken one look at Bute and waved it off IMEDIATELY regardless of what the **** Andrade was doing!

I'm not saying it was as bad as Reid-Otkke (The most corrupt fight I've ever witnessed) but it was a complete disgrace and needs to be changed to a no contest.

No Discussion. Bute Should Have Been Stpped By Ref. He Was Totally Out. Andrade Should Have Won. Andrade Was Robbed

Maybe i am bias cause i been to romania, an bought a hot girl for the night for $25 dollars,,,but this was not that bad of a call. I seen it on youtube, an he was up before 10, who ever says diffrent is full of ****, go to utube, when he goes down, 32 to 33 he is on his feet by 41, sure he stumbling, but i seen fighter sent out like that before

An for what it is worth, alot 10 counts are longer then 10 seconds, i mean they go to 12 to 13, an that not just hometown cooking fights, go look at some guys that get counted past 7, it just how it counted it not perfect, to me a slow count fairer then a fast count,,,,an YEA, no way is the hometown fighter getting a fast count. Now personally i only saw utube, but that clearly showed he was up under 10 seconds,:hi:

Bute was ahead the whole fight I gave Andrade 1 rd. The fight could have been stopped but Andrade did not go to his corner. It was in Canada so the gave Bute the benifit of the doubt, to his credit he got up at the count of 6 but one more shot would have finished him. Bute went down with 4 seconds left in the fight so it was an odd situation. Next time Bute may keep his hands a tad higher despite his speed and he should not have given Andrade his only chance of winning in the 12th

erm having seen that video and not the actual fight, it looks to me like the fight should have been stopped anyway before the count.

Bute cant even stand on his feet he's all over the place. **** that.

There was no robbery. The IBF state that when the fight is over, the fighter just have to beat de count. Bute was up at 6.

    And STFU after.

    - 5 seconds left.
    - Bute was up at 8 (real time)
    - IBF state that the fighter just have to beat the count if the fight is over

Im not a fan of Bute, but if we follow the rules, he just ****ing won.

Plain And Simple. Bute Lost. Plain And Simple. No Discussion. The Referee Could Even Have Stopped Him Befor He Was Knocked Down. This Is A Terrieble Terrible Thing For Andrade. I Feel For Him

Even if it were true that Andrade tried to gain an unfair advantage by not staying in his corner as told to, thus giving the ref licence to tell him off, winning Bute some more seconds, the ref restarted the count at 6, having counted to 6 before. But had 20 seconds to get up, and he did beat the clock, but was out on his feet, his back still against the cornerpost after the 8 count. Looked a bit like Berrio after Bute had him out. But then, the ref "saved" Berrio - the Champion's - skin, by calling it off. He didn't give Berrio 20 seconds to find the strength to find his head again and carry on.

There are few people more sorry than myself for what happened, as a Bute fan, because he did nothing wrong except showed a hell of a lot of heart to beat the count, but was gifted a win he didn't deserve, in my opinion, and as an Andrade fan, who deserved to get his "W" against Bute, in my opinion, despite being dominated for 11 rounds, and as a fan of boxing, who has campaigned until he became very unpopular indeed on ESB for fairness and justice in boxing, as I saw it. Please forgive me for getting overemotional over this. I started out defending the decision, but once I saw the youtube video, I changed my mind, and I am big enough to accept I was wrong. If I am again proven to be wrong, somehow, by my betters, then so be it. I will apologise again. Forgive me.

I want a rematch and unless people complain about the controversial decision, Andrade won't get it, and he will have lost out, along with Bute, and boxing, IMO. Forgive me again, if I am wrong in thinking this.

    Look noob

The bell will not save a boxer in any round of the bout.If a boxer is "downed" just before the 3-minute bell in any round, the referee's count shall continue and the bell will not ring until the boxer rises and his hands clear the floor.

    Now STFU

    What????? :huh

I can't comment about the fight in general as I didn't watch it. What I did see was the last 30 seconds of the fight... 5 times now. Fact is, Bute WAS up at 7... 8 max. Period, end of story.

Should the fight have been stopped?... dunno. I didn't see the entire last few rounds. Was Bute OUT on his feet, yep... pretty much. BUT, he DID GET UP before I counted to 10... and I started my count the VERY NANOSECOND he hit the canvas.
