You're missing a subtle difference here.

Kessler landed power punches every bit as cleanly as Bryant did.

Kessler wasn't affecting him that same way, though.

And I'm maybe the biggest MK cheerleader on these boards.

How closely were you scrutinizing Librado's facial expression, body language, etc. as he was getting bombed there by the ropes? It was brief, but BRUTAL.

I've seen Andrade fight probably as much as or more than anyone on ESB, and the stoppage was fine.

Steve Farhood tried making that "but, it's Andrade..." argument but sputtered with the words halfway out of his mouth. He realized it was a losing argument, especially as he watched the slo-mo replay.

Let's review the video, shall we?

Specifically, the brutal 15-second sequence that prompted the controversial stoppage...

    (Punches landed by Rowland Bryant)
1:57 Big right hand, buckles Andrade's knees as he's coming forward
2:00 Uppercut, left hook, right hand - backing Andrade up.
2:05 Right hand. Right hand. Right hand. Left hook, Right hand, Cuffing right hand/wristshot. BIG right hand, worst yet - badly hurt Andrade. Right hand, left hook. <--- pretty much a nonstop volley
2:12 ref in, one more right hand gets by him and glances.

14 punches in 15 seconds - 12 of them flush, clean and hard.

All unanswered (I think maybe Andrade attempted an uppercut on the inside at around the 1:59/2:00 mark but Bryant was building up a head of steam and just crashing the gates)

Watch how he dips at 1:57 from that first right hand. Watch how he never recovers. Watch how he barely even attempts to throw anything back as Bryant overwhelms him the rest of the way. Watch his eyes roll back in his head from that big right hand (the seventh in the volley) at 2:05.

    Good stoppage, k?

I never took Margarito seriously and even less so after the wrap controversy.

I agree Journeymen are a part of the sport. It gets old listening to people build up crude mechanics like Andrade into A level fighters because it fits their agenda this week. Andrade probably isn't any worse now than he has ever been and he is not even the best fighter in his family. Robinson won 100 fights before his decline started so its really apples and oranges.

    I do agree with that.

Enrique is the better fighter, and always has been (despite being less in the spotlight)
