it is funny how all of the sudden liddel's career is saved by beating silva. all of the sudden his past losses are erased in the minds of *some people this can be manifested on how the commentators were foreshadowing a liddel vs. rampage III. now who do you think will win in a rubbermatch between liddel and rampage? you know it is going to happen because the hype machine will get the ball rolling until this fight is materialized.

He needs to have a rematch with Jardine first

The night Liddell/Rampage 3 is on a PPV, I'm going drinking instead. I want to watch that about as much as I want to see Hughes/GSP 4 and Franklin/Silva 3.

I wouldn't mind seeing it as long as he deserves his shot...but he doesn't deserve one yet...there is a few guys in front of him... besides the second fight was to quick and they never really had a battle.

I want to see more Machida. Every one of his wins is a fluke? Guy has some serious names under his belt, too many to be considered lucky wins. I think he deserves a title shot, if not next, SOON.

After Chuck lost to Rampage, Dana White said he had didn't deserve a rematch right away with Jackson since he'd lost twice to him already and would have to fight a couple of more fights to prove he's worthy again.
So, it's hard to say where he stands right now. The Silva fight was impressive, but no one mistakes this Silva for the one from a few years ago. And why would Chuck deserve a shot before Jardine?

And while most people in this thread don't want to see Liddell/Jackson III, but don't forget that their first fight was pretty darn entertaining. Maybe their third fight would be more like that one.

MAYBE, but in all honesty, it's a waste of time. Chuck can't beat Page and everyone knows it or should know it. Give Griffin his chance. Give Lyoto his chance. Hell, give Shogun a gimme fight and then make Page rematch him.

I don't think many people want to see Chuck lose to him again. No one wants Tito-Chuck 3 after all.

Well, I'm certainly not pushing for Liddell/Jackson III by any means. I agree that Rampage almost certainly wins again.

I just think it might be unavoidable down the road unless Jackson loses to someone else. Liddell has been the poster boy for the UFC for so long, and has such a big fan base that Dana won't deny him a title shot just because it'll be his third go around with Rampage.

it's not even fun anymore...liddell is gonna get owned for the 3rd ****ing time by the same guy....

Liddell beating silva is irrelevant...it's not gonna magically change things against jackson. He'll lose again...
Yes , silva is the guy who defeated (demolished) jackson twice...but silva is done anyway...Hendo defeated silva too so did crocop...two super brutal kos..silva is a warrior but the "axe murderer" era is over.

he's at a point in his career where he'd probably get whooped by jackson himself...

Theres no need for Rampage Liddell 3.Liddell got smashed up bad twice. We dont need a Tito Shamrock affair.Theres no bad blood between them and Rampage beats Liddell 10 times out of 10.

All I'm saying is that you can be sure Dana White would like to see Chuck as champ again. And if Jackson doesn't lose anytime soon, then Chuck would have to fight him to win back the belt. Unfortunately for Liddell this isn't boxing where he'd have 3 other belts to go after.
