Wandy looked like an ass there. Trying to make Chuck flinch, and Chuck didn't even blink.

Actually, Chuck is looking pretty ripped for this fight.

Not bad for a 38 year old.
I wonder if he's getting tips from Couture.

I'd love to see Chuck turn his career around. Stop Wandy and then go for the Jardine rematch.

Same thing Tito did, doesn't seem to work on Chuck.

Now, I know who to root for. Up till now I didn't care. Go Chuck!!!
I haven't seen him this ripped in years. Maybe you can teach an
    old dog new tricks.

Chuck knows this is the last chance saloon for him.He looks to be in great shape and much better than the party boy he has been in the past. The nights is Chuck and in 1 round.Silva is just to open defensively and too wild to make an impact. All he fights on now is auto pilot and his own pride.Im afraid Silva`s best days are gone.He should have taken a warm up bout first to boost his confidence before getting KO`ed again..

I dont think that can happen, but we we see what Chuck has left tonight.
    Is Chuck done at 38?
Has he just not been taking the sport so serious after looking invinceable not long ago?

I think Silva has seen better days as well...all the wars and such. But he may have more in the tank than Liddell at this stage of their careers.

No, Chuck did, giving him the finger? How very grown up.

I couldn't care less about this fight, a couple of years ago it would have been totally different.

Silva have been going downhill for a lot longer than Liddell, and worse.

Not really. There demise was almost simulataneous.Liddell has never absorbed any sustained or bad beatings other than when he fought Rampage in there 1st bout and when he got KO`ed in the 2nd. Whereas Silva has been took a BAD beating from CC at the OWGP took another one from Hendo afterwards at PRIDE 34 and got KO`ed, aswell as his years of Vale Tudo combat and his all action brusing encounters with guys like Mart Hunt.Silva is damaged goods and he knows it.The scar tissue around his eyes is tremendous compared to his much earlier fights.

That's basically what I meant, except that I think Silva haven't looked as good and ruthless as he did earlier in his career for years and that he went downhill in a nice slow manner, culminating in the consecutive losses. Whereas Liddell haven't gone downhill up until his recent losses, and those were far from as devestating as Silvas, and as you said, he never had the wars Silva have had.

Therefore, I think it's a couple of years too late.
