Liddell stand up was overrated. He was so wide open when he fights and now strikers are taking advantage of him. Whe nhe was the champion he mostly fought wrestlers who's striking suck. Tito Ortiz-Couture-Babalu-Horn are all known for their wrestling or BJJ. Once chuck started fighting strikers, he got exposed against Rampage-Evans and now Shogun.
yep, shogun has been injured and was not 100 % when he fought griffin that is why he loss. I wont take griffin's victory away, he deserves it but i think a 100% shogun would destroy griffin. I would love to see them fight again.
I actually think mir can win this fight again. Lesnar has fought 2 wrestlers since he loss to mir. Mir is a submission artist and i can see him beating lesnar again via submission.
I thought both guys looked near their best, Rua was just the better man on the night & caught Chuck with a nice straight left. I do think Chuck is past his prime but I always thought that both at their best Rua would beat Chuck, this fight doesnt prove that in that respect but I always seen Rua as the more varied striker with a higher overall ability. If shogun stays in top shape, no LHWT in the world is gonna beat him, it will be pride all over again, at his best he rivals Fedor for the p4p spot. Botswana :thumbsup

Thats EXACTLY how he beats him, Shogun has the best muay thai in the LHWT division aswell as some of the best BJJ, his takedowns are pretty decent too, Shogun would whip Chucks ass in Chucks prime just like Rampage did in the pride MWT grand prix tourney... look what Rua did to that same version of Rampage, broke his ribs & just plain cut right thru him. Guys like Evans are in for a beating if Rua stays in good CV condition, marks these words, the top man of 205 lbs is back.
Mir will submit Lesnar again but GSP will beat any WWT, I`ll take the GSP bet with you once he follows Penns example & goes for the top guy in the division above, Anderson Silva, GSP is a very strong welter so the fight will be about better skills rather than size IMO. He WILL let you down IF he goes for the Silva fight, believe me.
