Do you think these super heavyweights perform better if they lift heavy? Bigger and stronger man is more durable and hits harder. You saw that on Joshua vs Povetkin.

Dillian Whyte looked stronger than Parker. And Jarell Miller can wearn his opponets down with his size.

Miller isnt a super heavyweight he is just a fat man. Youll all forget about Miller when the 1st good person he fights smashes him to the ground.

First off there is no such thing as a super heavyweight. Because a guy is fat doesn't mean he hits harder. Unless you are saying Jarrell Miler hits harder than Wilder because he is fat and weighs more. Also Joshua beat Povetkin because Alexander was never good and he was old.

    Double edged sword.

A lot of the old-timers thought that weight lifting makes you stiff and takes away from power. Thing is, its not that easy to get THAT big and I think time has shown that reasonable lifting adds to power.

However, any weight is more weight on your lungs, so it does tire a fighter out more quickly.

the one caveat is that you can do high-rep lifts, add no mass, and use it to IMPROVE stamina.

Boxing is more about conditioning than anything else.

You do not become 220bs of solid muscle without lifting weights.

Obviously. And lifting heavy weights improves endurance if conditioning isn’t compromised. Every heavyweight boxer lifts weights, and they’d be extroadinarily stupid if they didn’t in a weight class where there was no weight restriction.

Miller and Whyte are superheavyweights only cause they're fat.
    They're both shorter than 6'5''

    Miller is fat and muscle.

Being all muscle ( not lean muscle/skinny) requires better fitness then a not so muscular guy whos lighter bc they carry more weight which burns energy much quicker, its why guys like Joshua have to train harder and his style further dictates that bc hes a counter puncher which requires timing and hes aggressive combo puncher.

Not so easy for a 245 plus guy.

Miller is a plodder in comparison ,uses far less energy bc he just walks straight away and grinds guys down. Hes very durable and his experience in grappling/MMa fights he has a lot of experience knowing his work rate ( Joshua is still learning depending on what weight he is) .

On the topic...Foreman credits weight lifting to making him hit harder. I have to use him bc if I say it it must be false? lol
