Yes, Spinks wins here. No doubt. Still, Bobby was a good fighter.

I don't even know why I posted this. I just spoke with Bobby the other night, and even he admits that Spinks would outclass him. It would be one hell of a war though.

My first instinct is that this is a mismatch, and a potentially life threatening fight for Czyz, given the level of punishment he'd be taking. Virgil Hill and Prince Charles made a mess of him, and I can't even begin to imagine what would come from a meeting with Spinks. Bobby was a good boxer, savy veteran, and above all else a warrior. But, his tendency to eat leather and come back for seconds would be more detrimental to him than it would be any good.

    Spinks by a tragic anialation..

I was with Bobby last weekend at the boxing show at the Woodlands Resort, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where I was the Ring Announcer. He told me that he got in touch with you. I hope evrything went well.

Also, 2 weeks ago, I was in attendance when both Bobby and Michael Spinks attended a boxing function for COMBATT in Newark, New Jersey. Also attending were Larry Holmes, Bernard Hopkins, Tomasz Adamek, Kendall Holt, Butch Lewis, Murad Muhammad, IBF President, Marian Muhammad and the New York Boxing Commissioner Melvina Lathan, who I sat next to.

I am a BIG fan & friend of Bobby's BUT I believe Spinks would be a bad match for Bobby and he would be to big for him.

Yes sir, everything went swell. He is a great guy, funny as hell too. Thank you so much for helping me get that interview. Did you like it? It's on the front page if you haven't seen it yet.

Hahaha, cheers tho it's a pretty easy task here.

Just your average Spinks defense vs an overmatched opponent. Spinks comes out lay and disinterested and starts very slow. After some slow rounds Bobby lands some decent leather and Spinks wakes up. Then Bobby probably wakes up. See "Jerry Celestine". If Bobby comes on fast he gets taken out fast, If he sits back he survives longer.

I do agree that spinks was far better and should outclass him, but boxing is boxing and Bobby isnt totally without chance. I think he does better than many of spinks opponents but i certainly do doubt that he wins.

Sometimes though when we make predictions, we say fighter A has zero chance but in reality they always do have a chance. It is often forgotten that Ali was a given zero chance against Liston, and there are many other examples and all time greats are never totally unbeatable. If Bobby was to defeat Spinks, i dont think it would be anywhere near the greatest upset of all time.

I thought Czyz was best as a Middleweight.

Spinks would stop Czyz in the six rounds, he loses the first two due to his usual slow start, then tee off around the fourth, floor Czyz in the fifth, do the duty in the sixth.

Spinks all day, although I do like watching Czyz. Spinks is on a whole other level to Czyz

Henry, great to see you back. You don't post nearly enough:good. Cheers. Btw,I agree with your post here. Michael would be too big and skillful for Czyz.
