Hard one...you could pretty much have an argument for anyone winning it.

I think the fact Charles showed his dominance over Moore puts him ahead of Archie in this one.

I think Ezz would likely beat Langford.

How he goes against Foster and Spinks Im not sure...Most the film Ive seen of him was when he was heavier and older then his light heavy days.

To be honest...I think potentially Spinks has the greatest chance of staying unbeaten in this one. Though Ezzard has always held my no1 h2h spot at the weight...I wouldnt be surprised if everyone dropped the ball at least once because you are basically asking them to put on a near perfect performance in every fight to go in this tourney without a loss...These are the best of the best.

    Charles beats them all.

The real battle is the one for second place.

15 rounds is a long time for Langford to find the right punch...but I'm with Rock, there's no way to pick a winner here. Nobody goes unbeaten in this type of company.

I really want to emphasise that, because i feel strongly that noone goes unbeaten here. Although it would be hard to get a winner over Charles admittedly, not out of the question with Spinks lurking.

Again styles make fights..different guys would offer trouble in different match ups ...

I like Langford over alll at 175 ... too strong, tough and hardhiting ... his chin was proven at heavyweight ... Spinks would be a challange due to his height a ability to box ..actually all would be tough .. Foster would always be very dangerous as Charles as well ...

    I like Charles second

    Foster third ...

    Moore next ...

    Spinks/Conn a toss up...

Tunney should be included as he might beat them all ...

    I dont know he grant.

I think the fact this is under modern rules hinders the effectiveness of the Tar baby in this tourney.

Some of Sam's tactics would be big no no's in these fights. Overcoming some of the big sizes differences he will encounter will be harder without him being able to wrestle, hit & hold etc to the degree he did back in his day.

Your not wrong but again it depends on the ref ... look at the Ali / Frazier second fight ... Perez made it a ref's fight by breaking all the time ...

This is a series where I think no one would completely dominate ... extremely great fighters with varying styles ...

With hindsight I should have included Tunney ,as he has as good a chance to beat Charles as any, imo.
