Light Heavyweight Divison: Is it currently the weakest divison in boxing?

    It has the worst top 20 imo when compared to all other divisions above minimum weight

    That "honor" usually went to Cruiser, but that hasn't been so bad lately.
    Of course minimumweight takes the cake, for obvious reasons. But if you don't count them, I guess LHW is the worst at the moment.

    I think a good way to tell if a division looks weak is to consider would the top boxers in that division lose to their counterparts in the division below, and for lhw, I would say yes.

    the Super Flyweight division is by far the weakest division in boxing atm..

    Light heavyweight- It is solid in terms of the fighters there, but weak in terms of where each of them are at this exact moment...

    Dawson- coming off dominant loss at 168
    Hopkins- coming off decisive loss to Dawson
    Campillo- wrong side of February decision to Cloud, inactive since
    Cloud- right side of February decision to Campillo, inactive since
    Shumenov- inactive paper titlist
    Cleverly- paper titlist with few (two?) notable opponents
    Pacal- hasn't fought in ages
    Silakh- bright prospect stopped earlier this year
