B-Hop would never do this at 48, it's completely understandable though.

yes this is pretty much the plan for 2014...bhop wants to cash in big before he retires, and he loves to prove ppl wrong..he also likes to set records...bhop would love to be unified champ to prove to the doubters...bhop said in the past he wants both kovalev and stevenson...

2014 is the year for the 175 division...i forget if it was bhop or hbo that mentioned a 2014 175lb tourny with the 4 champs..but i don know if shumenov will step up..

Hopkins has shown no interest in Kolavev, and now it sounds mutual. Too bad, although I think Kolavev would be Bernards toughest fight out there.

B-Hop should consider retirement if he has no intention of fighting the #1 and 2 in the division

    1.Kovalev
    2. Stevenson
    3.Hopkins

Kovalev is tied into HBO now I believe. I'm not sure of the details but likely something like 3 fight contract I'd guess. Hence no BHop fight unless the cold war ends or his HBO contract is up by which time Hopkins will likely be close to 50.

Either BHop or Kovalev could fight Stevenson however. Bhop would struggle now against either I would think. Remember, Cloud coulda been tailor made for Hopkins and Bernard already had the blueprint from the Campillo fight. I'd never ever write BHop off and he has a better chance vs Stevenson than against Kovalev, for my money, but I could no longer have him as favourite.

Stevenson said he would not fight Kovalev, wants to fight his mandatory. Hopkins refused to fight Kovalev, so Kovalev won the WBO title from Cleverly!!!

Kovalev has said he'd love to fight BHop but can't for now 'cos he has an HBO multi-fight deal. And Bhop (obviously as a GBP partner) can't fight on HBO.

Also, how come you ain't included JCC jr since he's now clearly a LHW (or perhaps he should be campaigning at cruiser)?

Actually some kinda unofficial tourney is virtually takin' place already 'cos there's the Pascal - Bute fight coming up and Bellew - Stevenson. Clev, Cloud and Dawson have just been put away. Just gotta wait to see who KOvalev gets next. The only other guys who should be in the mix are Bhop (fighting Murat) and Shumenov (fighting some guy I never heard of).

LHWs a really hot division at the moment, and it looks like two of the biggest new names (Stevenson and Kovalev) actually, unusually (for this day and age), want to stay busy and make the big fights.

Kovalev wins this. He'll shatter Stevenson's glass jaw.

Throw Pascal in there too. I think he knocks out both Kovalev and Stevenson.
