If the following Light Heavyweight Tournament was put together how do you see it playing out?

    Pool A
    Bernard Hopkins vs. Karo Murat
    Tavoris Cloud vs. Nathan Cleverly

    Pool B
    Jean Pascal vs. Bebuit Shemenov
    Chad Dawson vs. Eduard Gutknecht

    Pool A
Hopkins takes Murat to school UD12
Cloud edges out Cleverly in a MD or SD which many complain was a robbery

    Pool B
Pascal over Shemonov by UD or late stoppage
    Dawson UD over Gutchknect

    Semi-
Hopkins does the same to Cloud as he did to Pascal UD12
Dawson learns from the first fight and edges out Pascal on points

    Final-
A year or two back when everyone was favouring Dawson over Hopkins, I always thought Hopkins would win. Now the vast majority of people are going Hopkins passed on the pairs fights with Pascal, ironically I favour Dawson. I think Hopkins may have the same problems as he had with Calzaghe and could be edged out in a razor close decision.

    Cleverly definitely outboxes cloud IMO.

Are these even pools? Seem more like a normal knock-out competition to me.

Cloud wrecks Cleverly. The Dawson who beat Johnson in their second fight, who has his head together and is focused would win the tournament. But I'm not sure Dawson isn't a little scrambled upstairs these days with whatever he's had going on outside the ring.

I've seen nothing to suggest Cloud 'wrecks' Cleverly. The only thing I'm certain I've seen regarding this match-up is that Cleverly is the FAR better boxer.

Cleverly gets hit. Cloud's fought better fighters, hits much harder, and would stop him. I'd love to see the fight happen, but it won't.

Styles make fights, and there is a reason why cloud is not getting his rightful shot.:deal

At the same time I haven't seen much from Cleverly to indicate that Cleverly is a FAR better boxer. His competition has been soft which can be expected as he's pretty young and relatively inexperienced, had Braehmer not bowed out of his 2nd straight fight against Cleverly we'd have a little better idea.. He does have his weaknesses though and I wouldn't call him a great boxer. In my eyes his talent lies in some of his physical capabilities: he's tall, he's rangy, he's quick, and he has a high workrate and therefore he's a hard guy to deal with and I'm sure Cloud would have his work cut out for him.

Cloud wins it by beating Cleverly, Hopkins, and Pascal.
