Moore on points - his power will quickly make Hopkins gunshy. By the halfway point Hopkins would realise it wasn't his night, so he'd either fall out of the ring hoping for an NC or keep collapsing in a heap claiming low blows.
Bernard's tricks won't work against this guy. And if you subtract his tricks, how much is there to beat a guy like Moore? I also think Hopkins falls for Archie's feints. And that's not going to be good either. Some other lh would be better matches. Even the other Philly lh are a tough go===Johnson/Saad/EM Muhammad to name a few.
Bernard loses to guys who have better or faster footwork than him, Archie had some of the best footwork of a fighter I've ever seen. Also, Archie was bigger and stronger, had a better punch variety and I personally believe more durable. Phenomenal big guy beats phenomenal little guy.
I had Moore by knock out.I have Hopkins 3rd greatest middle weight of all time & he beat some really good light heavyweight but Moore is considered the hardest light heavyweight puncher of all time & just think his style & power would have been to much for hopkins.
Bhop is an age freak and one of the greatest middleweights ever. However, he is not a great 175 pounder. He makes the distance but takes a beating while doing so.
Definitely. Archie was just as skilful as Bernard and had more power. And at his best had a higher workrate.
