First Question, if these was qualifiers for a Super 6 style torney at 140, who do you think would qualify? Match 1: Tonight's bout Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah Match 2: Tim Bradley vs Erik Morales Match 3: Robert Guerrero vs. Devon Alexander Match 4: The Argentine Banger Marcos Madiana vs. Lucas Mattheyse Match 5: The all action brawler Brandon Rios vs. Humberto Soto Match 6: The Prospect Danny Garcia vs. Jessie Vargas Question 2: Who wins the entire thing?
My thoughts: Khan vs Judah- Khan wins my late TKO to UD Bradley vs Morales- Bradley edges it in the fight but most people write him off in the tournament after Morales gives him all kinds of trouble Guerrero vs Alexander- The Ghost wins by wide UD finally sending Alexander into obscurity (Alexander should be 0-3 in his last 3 fights) Madiana vs Mattheyse- Mattheyese wins a hard hitting war by late TKO Rios vs Soto- Rios by mid round TKO in another war Garcia vs Vargas- Garcia edges it So I have Khan, Bradley, Guerrero, Mattheyese, Rios and Garcia. Personally I think Bradley a bit overrated and god knows why hes rated in p4p top 10s- so not him. Rios may come unstuck against better fighters due to his lack of defence so he's out Mattheyse goes through stages in fights where he doesn't do much and he'd be in there with fighters who could make him pay so he's out So that leaves Garcia, Guerrero and Khan. Due to the fact Garcia has never faced anyone at this level of talent and Guerrero might be small I'm gonna edge towards Khan and would predict he would be defeated at least once in the round robin stage
I would say ... timothy or khan ... but realisticly it won't happen at that weight class with those fighters because they feel like they're in the Mayweather/ Pacquiao sweepstakes
Golden Boy can make a Super Six... Amir Khan/Judah Guerrero/Maidana Throw in Matthysse, Young Swift(Garcia) and either Vargas or Soto(whos a free agent)....
