I'll list some classic heavyweight champions and your job is to select a fighter from the lighter divisions whose styles were the closest. Muhammad Ali Mike Tyson Joe Louis Larry Holmes Lennox Lewis Could be interesting
Sot Chitalada when he started to lose his reflexes and legs fought like Lewis at times. Steward Lewis and Monzon can be quite similar in approach
LOL.. I didn't really think of anyone specific. Just figured that his style would still work well for him if he were a 215 lb man. Sorry. Not exactly on topic
Gene Tunney fought similar to Ali. Jeff Fenech and Aaron Pryor fought similar to Tyson. Carl Froch fights similar as Vitali Klitschko.
You might see some glimpses of Tyson in Beau Jack. Maybe mixed with a little Frazier I think. And yeah Tunney and Ali are close enough. Not sure about Pryor and Tyson though. Argüello-Louis is a good call too in terms of strategy and pace.
Lupe Pintor was a highly aggressive swarmer with a big active hook that was almost always in top shape for his preferred wars of attrition - I see a little Joe Frazier in that....
I always thought Lennox Lewis fought similar to Thomas Hearns. I also believe Alexis Arguello and Felix Trinidad fought with the same approach as Joe Louis. ..
