Emile Griffith didn't hit too too hard outside of his murderous outburst against Paret.

Harry Greb sure as hell wasn't a power puncher. Probably the ultimate attrition hitter. 48 KO's in 300 fights...

Battling Levinsky wasn't much of a puncher.

Conn had a whopping 15 KO's in his entire career.

    Latter day Calzaghe.

    Hmmm. Willie Pastrano?

Jake LaMotta? Not THE lightest hitting ever but still lacked power.

I would say Midget Wolgast. 16 ko's in 159 fights (boxrec). A master boxer with no power.

I know it might be because of the technique employed, but i'd still say Maxie.

McGrain put a good one in with Midget though.

He didn't have knockout power but he had the power to hurt his opponent.

    Some inapropriate mentions so far.

Guys like Greb and LaMotta were not big hitters but they were punishing hitters. They could certainly hurt their opponents. While perhaps being lighter hitters I dont think any of them are particularly close to being the lightest hitters of their weight class.

Billy Conn was knocking heavyweights silly. You could make a case for him being one of the harder hitting 175 pounders.

Joe Calzaghe was quite a banger before his hannd problems foced him to adopt his present style.
