RJJ was @ 200 when he fought Ruiz at 230-something. Chris Byrd did that all the time. My point is some real small guy who can get in there and beat a much bigger guy in a way higher weight class.

Whitaker's key to beating Vasquez was keeping his distance and not getting into a physical fight, even though he faired pretty well inside. His jab was as good as ever against Vasquez, and he'd need weapon against even bigger opponents to outscore them.

This may sound strange, but I thought Whitaker's speed up at light-middleweight was pretty sublime. I thought he looked even quicker than he did against Chavez at welterweight.

Whitaker's win over Vasquez, the most underrated win/performance of his entire career.

How would Roy Jones, at 168, do against Samuel Peter at 250?

On Feb. 25 1901 Joe Choynski who fought (162-178lbs.) KO'd a 23 year old Jack Johnson (185-221 lbs.) in 3 rounds. If memory serves me, Johnson years later said that Choynski hit harder than any fighter he faced.

    .

    Chrysanthemum Joe

I remember reading that they went to jail together for that fight because it was illegal for a black man and a white man to box one another.

Joe taught Jack some tricks of the trade when they were locked up together.

I was thinking PBF vs Valuev.

He could sneak in 1 punch and run the rest of the way
