What would you describe as prime Calzaghe - the puncher version or boxer one?

This has to be a joke. Prime toney would put on a counterpunching clinic against Joe. UD Toney

When has james toney EVER been TKO'ed? And yet Joe's pitty pats are going to somehow get the job done?

How many Cal fights have you seen you bum? pitta pat is an evolution of his style. Way back he was a Ko artist, FACT.

Just keep in mind that the people picking Calzaghe are probably delusional Calzaghe fans. These are probably the same people who thinks that he's the greatest fighter in the last 25 years. :nut

    Toney, quite comfortably.

Joe would come forward, try and throw a whole bunch of pitty pats, only to be met by James Toney's great defence and shoulder roll... Combined with his counter-punching ability (and accuracy and timing).

Toney's style is ALL wrong for Calzaghe... Joe thought a 43 year old Hopkins was tricky, wait till he see's a prime James Toney.

Toney by mid-to-wide UD. Perhaps a KD as well.

I question the knowledge of anyone who picks Cal in this fight... They're certainly his fans, which could give them a pass (cause their only picking Joe cause he's their guy, i.e. they have an agenda)

    Perfectly said.

The way Calzaghe comes running in with his hands down, a guy like Toney would feast on counter opportunities.

James Toney's chin is GRANITE... Hence why a former MW is taking bombs from today's HWs.

    Furthermore, Toney's defence is AWESOME.

To say that Joe C would stop him in the 7th is BEYOND ludicris. Full stop say no more.

BTW, I'm not having a go at YOU, cause I know we had a back and forth yesterday.
