Over 6 years these guys were duking it out:

    Roberto Duran Ken Buchanan
    Gato Gonzales Mando Ramos
    Estaben Dejesus Guts Ishimatsu
    Ernesto Marcel Ismael Laguna
    Pedro Carrasco Sugar Ramos
    Carlos Ortiz Carlos Teo Cruz

I am sure there were others too....it was a golden era, and too
bad more fights weren't on TV.

Longhorn, Marcel never ventured into the lightweight ranks. So, let's replace him with Chango Carmona and add in some outstanding contenders of the day such as Ray Lampkin, Miguel Velasquez, Ruben Navarro, Jimmy Heair, Antonio Puddu, Hector Thompson, Shinichi Kadota, Jimmy Robertson, Arturo Lomeli, Frankie Narvaez, Alfredo Urbina, Angel Mayoral, Andries Steyn, Antonio Amaya and Raul Rojas (who also fought at 135) and you have one hell of a packed house of talent converging in one division.

I just realized I left out Ray Lunny, Tury Pineda, Al Ford, Percy Hayles and who knows who else. Man, this era was deep.
