I just thought about it.the title fight between Edgar and Maynard got pushed back a couple months pettis vs guida winner could fight Henderson vs miller winer could fight for an interim.there are a lot of fighters in 155 so its hard to give only 1 guy the shot, but I think miller is more deserving,then pettis But just a thoughtÂ…
I agree. But that would suck for Pettis if he loses. He was promised a title fight but now because of the draw he got pushed to the side. Honestly I think instead on matching Pettis vs. Guida, they should match Pettis vs. Miller. For the interim title.
Bad idea. No need for an interim. Both fighters are injured. How could we want the number 3-6 guys to fight for an interim. They'd still have to wait. Only difference is they'd have a title saying they are the champ but not really the champ. Interim should be used in extreme circumstances like when a fighter will be out for a year and his return is unknown.
Bad idea... Interim belts are a joke. If a champ can't fight for a year they should be stripped and then if they comeback get a shot. Pettis has been robbed but i think Guida will beat him. Guida has been fighting much better fighters for a lot longer than Pettis and i think he will keep the pace up in the fight so his cardio comes into it's own. Guida for the next shot and then Miller.
