sorry, typed it up a bit quick - here's the rumoured fight list

    Valero v Pitalua
    Katsidis v Chavez
    Casa v Escobedo
    Barrios v Hernandez

They could do this in other divisions, would be fantastic no?

Exactly, cracking idea. The Prizefigher format has given this idea exposure, would be great to do it regulalry.

I honestly think Pitalua will hammer Valero into the ground.........

    ............well, I hope so anyway.

Casamayor should probably retire, he's had a decent career, but is old now and isn't going to do much in the division. He'll do well against the inexperienced swarmers, but I think Nate/Juan Diaz/etc etc would beat him handily at this point.

    Why?

Honestly, Valero is AWFUL. His punchign power really isn't that great, sure he's heavy handed, but when he telegraphs his punches by winging them in from his ankle then he really isn't dangerous to good straight punchers like Pac/Nate/JMM.

Hell, I'd favour DeMarco/Kid Diamond over him. If Khan had a slightly better chin I'd favour him, but he's the only LW contender I'd favour Valero over

Let me guess Asero, do you rate Linares as well.

    this is the potential pairing

    Valero v Pitalua
    Katsidis v Chavez
    Casa v Escobedo
    Barrios v Hernandez

valero is the likely winner in this tournament. do not include de marco, diamond or linares. they are not in the tournament

can someone explain this tournament system ? ?

does this mean that katsidis ONLY fights chavez ? :s

    and vice versa?

or will winners fight each other etc...different nights?

    whats the go

    excuse my naivity

no you fight your 1st round fight then you fight the winner of the other fight later and you are the #1 ranked guy in some ABC title rating
