The 140 division full of talented fightrs, Witter, Malignaggi, Hopkins, Forbes, Torres, Holt, prospects like Victor Ortiz, and the Peterson Brothers, etc. Once Hatton the fraud loses to Witter, the 140 division will open up.

 

We need Witter-Hatton. THEN we won't need Hatton.

 

I am really starting to worry about these boards IMO THERE IS MORE HATERS THAN FANS.

I dont see the problem Hatton is with out doubt a world class fighter full stop. Imo a true fighter willing to travel anywere to fight if the money is right. Before you all you start Hatton will fight Witter and he will beat him imo.
I dont see the point of turning this into Hatton ducks Witter bull**** because its been done to death.

Hatton would bring a lot of money and more to the point interest if he was to fight any of the names noted above. This can only be good imo

Your statement doesn't really make sense. You state that a true fighter is someone who will fight anyone is the money is right. This is not a true fighter, this is someone interested in making money. This is someone who will only fight you if it will make him lots of money. A true fighter is someone who will fight anyone to prove he is the best.

You are deluded if you think that you can now talk about Hatton without talking about him ducking Witter. Witter has proved to be the best regular fighter at 140. Hatton won one fight in 2005 which got him the ring belt. Since then he has hand picked opponents to get more belts and then looked for the biggest possible paydays which meant constantly vacating his titles looking for money fights rather than fight his mandatories. By your standard this makes him a "true fighter", most other people are annoyed by his antics.

The problem with the Ring Belt is that you can not be stripped of it. The same issue occurs with Casamayor being the champ but everyon knowing that Diaz is the man.

 

4 years ago when 140 was STACKED!! Hatton was busy beating up cans. Why do we need him now and for what?

Not in comparison to 4 years ago. The RING ran an article on it and called it the glory era of 140. Its not half as deep as then and Hatton wasnt even in the top 10.

 

This all depands on his next fight. He should fight a tune up and then Witter. If he comes back then he is the best again, if not, oh well.

 

Tune up? What the ****s a tune up? 3/4`s of his career has been tune ups. What does he need a tune up for? Just fight a live body at 140 and be done with it dammit!

 

To be honest I dont care about the ring belt ect thats the beauty of IMO because that is all the ring belt is. Pro Fighters fight for money and thats why it is called pro boxing. lETS GET THIS STRIGHT HATTON SHOULD FIGHT WITTER . Any boxer anywere if given the chance to fight Mayweather or Witter is going to fight Mayweather. Lets not **** about if you want to tell it how it is. I never said the way boxing works is right but regardless thats the way it works. I am sure if you were to put your life on the line against the best fighters at your weight you would want the reward. FAIRS FAIR ANYBODY GETTING IN THE RING GETS MY RESPECT THERE IS A LOT TO BE SAID ABOUT PRIDE BUT THE TRUTH IS PRIDE DOES NOT PAY THE BILLS.

 

Hatton should fight Witter - but all this hating is getting boring. Hand picked opponents............ such as Floyd Mayweather?

 

a fight where he gets a career high payday and when he loses knows he can fall back on the excuse that the P4P #1 handed him his first loss. people will excuse him that loss, but would they have excused him if witter handed it to him? unlikely, his career would then really hang in the balance.
