    showtime boxing business model was a short term goal hbos foundations have been firmly built from the root...........


    hbo have 3 ppv stars pac,canelo,cotto where as showtime have only duckweather and he is out soon where will they find their next star?

    hbo also have golovkin who looks like to be on his road to superstardom in terms of being a ppv attraction things look to be looking great for hbo:deal

    Whoever starts looking OUTSIDE of the US RIGHT NOW will set themselves up for the next 10-15 years. Fighters like Usyk, Lomachenko (HBO?), Murata and Brian Carlos Castano are the guys that the networks should be chasing hard.

    Yeah I must admit when showtime was looking strong I bought into the hype and thought that Showtime might become the premier name in boxing but looks like I was wrong.

    They don't put on good fights salka vs Garcia is one example hbo would never sanction a fight like that

    Canelo just fought the big stars on Showtime, now he's chasing the big stars on HBO. Pacquiao and Floyd don't even do that. While I do agree that HBO is more stable, I think you're exaggerating and only making threads like this because Floyd is on Showtime. You know that's why you're doing it. You want to "predict" Showtime's downfall and make it look like Floyd is responsible, or at least "pour salt in the wound" because they're associated with Floyd.

    Is there anything associated with Mayweather that you don't hate?
