Ricky Hatton has yet to lose at LWW ... he's still undefeated in that division and a 3 time belt holder. He beat the long term lineal/universally recognized undisputed champion in Kostya Tszyu.

He took one loss to a guy to the best fighter in the sport and has been written off.

He will beat Witter, Kotelnik, Malignaggi (especially Paulie), Torres, and everyone else that thinks because Mayweather beat him that they can.

Don't sleep on Hatton and don't make the mistake and bet money against him.

He's still the lineal champ and its only a matter of a time before he starts a quest to get his belts back.

Hatton is faster, stronger, and more agile at LWW ... he will be back on his thrown and he will get his crown back from Floyd.

I'm not sure who wrote him off, I still think he's fantastic. So he moved up to a different division to take on the best in the world and then lost. And if Cortez wasn't so against him he could have put on a better performance, evem though he still would have lost. This might sound odd but I think Ricky beats all of those guys with the possible exception of Malignaggi, he isn't even the best fighter in the division but I see his movement giving ricky problems.

Yeah I tend to agree. The only reason he wont clean up 140 (again) is if the ballooning up has taken a toll and on top of that he struggles to motivate himself after training his heart out and losing vs PBF.

This guy will turn heads and with his recent success in the US ... HBO will put him on again and he will dominate these chumps calling him out --

I hope he knocks all of them on their ass !!

    Especially Malignaggi and Witter

I've always maintained Witter would knock Hatton out, long before Mayweather did and I still stand by that today. Stylistically, Witter is all wrong for Ricky and I think he knows it.

how do you know the fight will be on versus? to jlmayo825

to Antwann Maxx -- What does Witter posses that would give Hatton trouble. He's not a master boxer, he's ofter sloppy, unorthodox and hasn't beat anyone of signifance.

I don't see any fighter in that division giving me trouble ... After fighting Floyd I doubt Hatton will be out gunned again.

If the fight goes to the inside (which it will because Witter seems to has some animosity toward Hatton) expect Junior to become a Junior and get son'd.

Ricky Hatton won't lose because he avoids the toughest fights, ie Witter, hes avoided Witter since 2000, which makes him a little *****

Witter has everything to cause Hatton problems

Hatton struggles with counterpunchers that can time him on the way in. Mayweather did it, and to prove it doesn't just take the elite Collazo did it. Hatton doesn't jab his way in, he walks face first. Witter is the best counterpuncher in the division. Stylistically, Witter is his nightmare

The reason why Witter hasn't been granted a fight because no one outside of England knows who he is ... he doesn't bring any money, fan fare, or competition.

    He won't win ...

Hatton will prove that his chin is granite and he's too strong for anyone at 140.

Mayweather broke him down to the body and the rest followed. Collazo took the initiative and tried to take Hatton's head off w/ power shots and plus Collazo fights from the southpaw stance.

I don't see Witter being a better boxer than those two ... and the trouble came at WW not LWW.

Witter is a no one ...

He's known in the US as the guy who lost to Zab Judah ... and Hatton has yet to lose at that weight class and until he loses - he's the favorite IMO.

He's fast, strong, relentless, and has a strong will -- Witter wouldn't have lasted 10 rd's against Mayweather or Collazo ... so that doesn't say anything about Witter --

Hatton knocks out everyone who Witter fights ...

Witter talks like he's jealous of Hatton and will strive to prove that he's better - but not in a smart way.

Be careful what you wish for Junior !!

Neither do any of Hattons opponents outside of Tyszu, Mayweather and Castillo

He brings more competition than anyone Hattons faced outside of Mayweather, Tyszu and Castillo were shot
