cotto has earned his shot, if you dont think cotto doens't deserve to be in there with floyd then who else do you think floyd should fight?

Mayweather truly is one of the best ever, His main asset is his ability to adjust midway through a fight , Zab , Hatton , DeLa Hoya (all fighters who come from above his best weight division) all did well early on and he has a amazing ability to adjust and find a rythm against oponents

 

mayweather is already a all time great. i know some of you don't want to hear that, but he is. true......fighting cotto will cement that, but even if they never fight, mayweather will be considered one of the best ever. in any event...a fight with cotto will happen later this year. there simply is too much money at stake for it not to happen, unless DLH decides to fight cotto first.

Wake me up when they put him with a powerful puncher, they put him with Torres and was nearly knocked the ****ing out and wobbly all over the place from the start. They put him against Zab, who can punch and 2-3 rounds tops and is out of fgas, the worse version of Zab I must add, and he gave you his classic jelly-leg early. Corley nailed him with a punch to the temple and he wobbled like a truck hit him even though he was a ****ing WELTERWEIGHT that night and Corley looked tiny as hell compared to him. They put him in there against Shane, who isn't THAT big a puncher and he caught him in round 10 yet Cotto wobbled and remained dazed from that round all the way to Puerto Rico.

Get your facts straight before judging other fighters.

 

I never said that I don't want him to fight them, when did I say that?, I claimed that Cotto is NOT in Floyd's level. Some ridiculous fools seem to think Floyd is one of the MANY bums Cotto faced and Cotto would eat him up easily, my point is that Floyd would humiliate this guy if they ever meant. That's what I'm pointing at when I said Cotto doesn't even belong in the ring with Mayweather.

mayweather was out on his feet against judah, and since when did shane become featherfisted? people were predicting him to ko cotto.

cotto does deserve a fight with mayweather. i'd give him at least as good a chance as hatton had....moreso, considering i think cotto is a better fighter than hatton. after cotto's win over mosely, who else is it that deserves a fight at 147 more than cotto, not to mention which fight would bring in the most money. it's a no brainer.

 

Floyd is already a great top 30 p4p but if he unifies the division and beats Cotto he'll be up there with Chavez and Sweet Pea.
