Hmmm....must admit the last few weeks boxing has put on som good fights. From the PVP success of Mayweathers fight to and ole school Hw title clash on Espn. Do you any of you all agree?

It's awful; this "cold war" is stopping competitive fights being made. I wonder if boxing is meant to be a monopoly, I just hope one of these companies wins out quickly and we can go back to the days when champions took on the best challenge.

I agree Besty, but I also like that espn has put together a Saturday night card. I hope they do that more often, along with fnf, because it seems hbo has taken a step back.

I don't want to watch business, I want to watch boxing. I want to see Kovalev vs Adonis, I want to see Pac v Mayweather and hundreds of other fights that would be fantastic entertainment but petty politics are stopping. It's still a great sport but it could be so much better.

As long as Floyd is the game, forget it. He pave the way for some ducking-cherrypicking ***** moves and it is now becoming a pattern... As long as they sign with Haymon, they will all be hiding behind monetary excuses. Look at what Stevenson just did.

It's a great thing that ESPN, NBC sports, Fox sports and AWE are putting on boxing cards. It could signal a revival in the sport's mainstream appeal.

PPVs are doing the exact opposite. Further perpetuating the compartmentalization and digging the trench deeper, so to speak. New fans are NOT born of PPVs. It just gouges the already existing fans and capitalizes on their fandom.

ESPN have the power and money to dominate boxing if they wanted too.
