Not at a weeks notice they wouldn't.

There is a reason he left Frank, didn't just decide the European title wasn't for him two weeks before a fight.

He'd have a point if the fight had been scheduled for months but it hasn't so he's not.

I do think a lot people are letting their OTT dislike of Frank colour their view of what's happened. Groves was right to move, but he is going to a totally **** fight.

 

A **** fight for which he will presumably be paid.

 

If groves goes from a european title fight instead to this and then a fight against kenny then i will be back on a here giving him and eddie pelters.

But lets be realistic, whilst its a **** fight its a stay busy one not to waste a training camp and to make a few quid.

I accept though if his next fight is a step back then he deserves grief.

Wasn't a fan of Groves decision to ditch the Anderson fight to go after the Stieglitz bout at barely any notice but can't level any criticism at him for this.

The Groves opponent is entirely understandable given the late notice.

If he fights a **** opponent after then Hearn and the Groves team deserve some stick.

 

Let's wait and see who he fights on May 25th.

Regardless, if Hearn had announced the signing of Groves with his first fight being on May 25th, nobody would have said a word... Instead people are bitching about his opponent with a weeks notice.
