Tbf the last Prizefighter wasn't bad but I think that was down to the enigma that is Audley Harrison, I kept switching between the two cards, Satchell/Wilton was a cracking little fight though and proved why a proper title fight is superior too anything PF can muster up.

I could live with it being on weeknights, that way it doesn't get in the way of what I consider timeslots that should be used for proper pro boxing.

Its not a great card in terms of TV next week although theres 2 50-50s off TV in Evangelou vs O'Connar II and Camacho vs Clarke. Purdy vs Jones is a 50-50 and Ochieng vs Carruthers and Taylor vs Shinkwin are good fights. Groves, Barker thats 7 watchable fights for me.

I'm looking forward to Saturday night, £20 and some good little fights on there such as Camacho vs Clarke.

Ticketmaster are a joke though, Ain't sent the tickets out so got to pick them up at the Box Office on the day.

I will be having words with Eddie .

TBH i was really looking forward to it last time then got pulled and was gutted (bought tickets to the show). This time it's really slipped under radar, I think Purdy can win.

Jones i expect to be more urgent, Twice he's come and started slow over here. Purdy's a tough lad and so is Jones, Both are grinders. But i think Purdy's got a real chance with a vocal support behind him in a dogfight like it could well be it does help somewhat.

The early rounds are key, Win them and keep yourself clean (as much as you can). Jones does start slow and does show facial damage. Purdy's got to be aggressive but without being as gung-ho as last time out.

Left hook to the body and head are key punches for Lee IMHO.

All promoters are shill artists, it goes with the territory. They are businessmen who are in it for themselves, not the love of the sport...Hearn, ****** and all the others are basically cut from the same cloth, theres nothing wrong with that but people have to recognise it for what it is, a business.

Prizefighter is like Marmite, you either love it or hate it...I hate it but my mate thinks its the best thing since sliced bread and never misses one. I did watch the last HW one just to see how Audley performed and I largely enjoyed it, mostly the bit where Sosnowski went airborne

Frank and Hearn want to make money. As much as possible. They have different theorys on how this is done. I prefer Hearns.

Looks like groves knew the march 16th card was going to get cancelled/postponed and decided to change knowing that he would actually get to box regardless of the opponent.what if hed stayed with frank and the rearranged date gets cancelled?that would be almost 6 months without any sort of fight.this way hes guaranteed 3 fights in around 6 months rather than doing nothing and waiting around for fights on cards that may/probably will never happen.

Which is precisely the same theory and method as Jacobs, Solomons, Duff, Hearn major and ******, they are all cut from the same cloth
