How does he do at his optimal weight classes? Who completely outclasses him? Who does he upset or destroy? Alphabet title holder, or what? Thoughts please.
Do you mean Bazooka Limon who fought Bobby Chacon several times? He would be awkward and tough for the fighters of any era, IMO.
He wouldn't have done too well just a couple of years ago (when Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera and Marquez were around) but right now the super featherweight division is not exactly filled with talent. A man with Limon's sheer will and determination could make an impact. Linares who recently stepped up to the division is the best prospect right now and is looking very good so far. Guerrero and Soto are good fighters as well. He could probably work his way to a title or two as he did in his own time.
Boy you guys know your stuff!!!!THANKS!! Freind who got great pic of Gans right on!!!Limon really pop with a lot of the crowd he was kinda a brawler type!!
I'd pick Limon to stop Linares within 5 or 6 rounds. Linares is totally ordinary and made to order for someone as rough and tumble as Limon.
I like Limon i reckon he could become the Ring Magazine champ at Super Feather and the consensus number 1 but the hardest fight out there for him IMO is Soto and that would be an absouloute war.
limon would make for one fight of the year after the next in todays boxing world just like he did when he was in his prime... dude was tough as nails!
