I heard about this matchup a wee while back, & I would be happy with it. Limond would win, & Earl would be a decent name on his resume. Would this be for the vacant IBO title that Barry Hughes is trying to get Limond a shot at? Limond is getting very popular nowadays, who thought he would outsell Harrison & Arthur ticketswise? Its a mixture of Limond being a great guy & a fans fighter, kinda like a scottish Hatton personlity wise. & of course terrestrial tv coverage. No-one should listen to the doom mongers who say boxing on terrestrial tv is dead, when you are shown on ITV1 joe public remember you.
if earl starts the same way he did against khan ( slow ) he'll ktfo'd i'm sure...... graham EARLY'd 1234 or 5 go on wullie boy :good
Personally I want Earl to retire before he get's hurt. However if he does intend to continue then this bout will be good, for both fighters. Earl will get one more crack to prove himself against a good opponent, win and he's back on the scene in some style and if he loses he has gone out against a good opponent. Limond is a fighter everyone seems to respect and favour. Dunky got it right with his post and Limond could do with a couple more names on his record to give him that push needed for a European shot. The fight may also tell us aboutabit about Khan. Two former opponents, one who had Khan beat and another that Khan destroyed. Limond by all acounts is still a decent force especially domestically while the thought of Earl putting in a decent performance may make a few people re asses how they viewed the Khan vs Earl fight. Anyway. Limond by mid round stoppage.
LIMOND by stoppage then he can go on to bigger and beter things which he more than deserves!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK WULLIE BOY!!!!!!:smooch :smooch
This is a lot of bull considering Earl is completely shot, and he was up in Glasgow sparring Limond for his fight with Khan, he was dropped in sparring, Nuff said!!
he is also popular because he is the closesnt anyone has come to beating khan, and for some reason people dont like Khan.
According to BBN, Limond will defend his IBO Intercontinental Title against Earl on June 14th in Glasgow.
