Linares v Crolla II Announced

Linares wins again but i think Crolla is a bit more competitive. Linares is just a more complete fighter with more dimensions to his game. Better punch variety, combinations, speed...etc...

 

Same result; it's about levels. Cool fight though, I look forward to it

 

Linares again but Crolla will have his moments.

Be interesting to see if Loma moves up how him vs Linares would go.

Crolla just needs something else that's next level. I'd would have been tempted to let Linares have another fight against Mitchell there were a few people wondering if he was on the slide and then go for him again.

Simelar outcome to last time probably but Colla didn't disgrace himself he's just lacking an xfactor against the elite

 

To be fair, Linares would of probably stopped Crolla last time, if it wasn't for him complaining about bodyshots that weren't low, as he was allowed to ref the fight. Linares got warned about that, then stopped throwing them and he was clearly hurting Crolla a lot.

I hope Linares continues to throw them in the rematch and not worry about the referee, because otherwise it just makes the fight closer then it actually should be.

I like Crolla, but as the above have said Linares just has too much speed and versatility.

 

Are the referee and judges going to officiate the rematch properly this time? If so, Linares produces a stoppage win. The way Linares was treated the first time still leaves a bad taste though.

 

First fight wasn't even close, no point watching it again tbh

I like Crolla and always want the brit to win but after that first fight it was obvious he wasn't in the same league

 

I like Crolla, but Linares wins again. I actually expect Linares to stop Crolla this time if he's actually allowed to work the body this time.

 

ZZZZzzzzzz fight even worse build up.

 

Crolla's tactic in the first fight was to ride the storm, take him to the later rounds and assume Linares would fade.

That obviously proved fruitless, so I'm wondering what the tactics will be for the 2nd fight. Either way, I'm still looking forward to it.

 

I doubt anyone will tip Crolla but he was a world title holder, lost it and had a rematch clause. Of course he is going to invoke it and try and win back his belt and avenge his loss.

The outcome looks obvious but it's another chance to see a great boxer in Linares and a great competitor in Crolla.

I'd like to see Crolla vs Burns at some point in 2017.
