Linares vs Haney

I think maybe Haney cos Linares now is older than in fight vs Loma.

 

Haney stops him.

 

Not mandatory. Haney might win via UD for example or like this and why not?

 

Haney wins by SD or late stoppage due to cuts. Haney is still trying to find his punching power at 135 which is scary because he’s a big LW. He’s athletic and boxes well. Good enough to open those cuts on Linares’ face. Linares is still a pretty good offensive fighter. I like this matchup and hope it happens. Haven’t followed any recent news and don’t know if it’s for real.

 

I don't think they should be fighting. Violence never solved anything in the sweet science.

 

Linares is shot. Only reason Haneys handlers are allowing this to happen.

It's hard to imagine a guy who was stopped inside a round by Cano just a few fights back even testing Haney...

If Haney doesn't stop Linares it'll do his reputation further harm imo, a no lose for Jorge... And another no win for Haney.

 

I'm kinda down on the latest crop of divas, but maybe Linares has one more great effort in him. I'm not even hoping for an upset. Just that Linares can rise to the occasion sufficiently to draw out the potential greatness of Haney and in so doing, give him enough confidence to fight one of the other divas.

 

Linares is a better 135 than Gamboa I expect him to give hell to Haney don't forget he dropped Loma.

 

It's not the most outrageous speculation I've seen around here. He ain't necessarily wrong

 

I don't know man... This is a hard fight for me... I'll say that Linares will win by UD only if his footwork is as good as Loma's

 

It will be a wide decision win for Haney, but I think Linares has enough left to have his moments, maybe win a couple rounds.

 

Haney will probably win but would love to see Linares teach this punk a lesson.
