Linares is good but he is overrated. He's aboout the same level as someone like Amir Khan but looks good because he's in such a weak division. Mikey Garcia will shatter his glass jaw.

You couldn't be more wrong. I have no idea where ''overrated'' comes from. He is the most underrated boxer around. Other than Loma he is the most skillful boxer in the game and one of the most skillful ever. Blinding hand speed, balance, footwork, responsible defense, incredible combinations and punch variety. He is way above the skill level of p4p guys like Ward, GGG, and Kovalev. Those guys are all on the downhill slide and Linares seems to get better with age. He really should be climbing the p4p list by now. I don't go along with the weak chin theory. He's been down a few times but always bounced right back up on solid legs and showed no signs of being hurt. Earlier in his career he may have suffered from too much self belief and a lack of solid gym work but you can see after that performance that problem has been corrected. The skin problem will always be there but it hasn't bothered him for a while now. Overrated, Khan level, weak chin? You don't know what you are talking about.

This isn't even funny even if it was a sarcastic post. Not sure what the hell it is but I know it's a waste of a thread.

lol. This is the same guy who got battered by DeMarco. Even Kevin Mitchell dropped him and gave him plenty of trouble.

I'm not a big Linares fan but I am from Japan.
Based on your comment above, that 'Skin' is borderline slur

I sort of agree he's overrated albeit i'd still say he is an elite boxer in his weight class. He's enjoyable to watch and has a fluid, fan friendly style. That essentially still doesn't make you some goat elite boxer, though.

I think you have to brawl and cut the ring off vehemently vs a guy like Linares and throw hell for leather without worrying about hitting gloves etc. I think Garcia is gonna brutalize him but we'll see.

I haven't seen his losses but it appears he has a weaker chin, and he also gasses out. He has amazing boxing skill and it's carrying him at the moment.
If he beats the likes of Mikey Garcia, Robert Easter etc. then he's shown that he's adjusted himself accordingly and is a true star.
