Cronje was matched to fight Pitt and then Pitt pulled out, dont know the reason as to why. I think the show may have been cancled, either way why not take him up on the next fight Pitt is supposed to be fighting on against TBA? or give Oganov a rematch, god knows he deserves it with the treatment he recieved in that fight. He all but won it until the ref whom was influenced by Pitts corner saved him

I've heard Pitt has not done any training at all since his last fight.
Heard from of his old training partners he might even be retiring.
Apparently his lost his motivation for boxing

He should head to USA to a decent trainer and give it one more crack, i think the Oganov fight shook him up, he didnt look to great and threw everything including the kitchen sink at Oganov and if he watched the footage he would know in his heart that he lost the fight but won the battle, he was a VERY good amateur but i just dont think he can cut it in the pros, the Oganov fight showed this. Bit of a waste of talent imo if he does retire.

I hope he doesn't retire.imo i think he has got it as a pro.i agree i don't think his been at his best his last couple of fights.but going by what i heard off one of his training partners his heart hasn't been in it and its very hard to perform if you've lost interest.
I think if he gets his motivation back it will click for him and we will see his best and i think if his at his best his a big chance of cracking it on the world stage.its all up to him now i hope he gets that drive back and he does well.

true, if his heart isnt in it there isnt much point in going any further. He must have some RL issues or a good job thats detracted him from the sport imo. Would be good for someone to interview him and get his side of the story about where he is going and how he is feeling about it all atm.

im not surprised. the beating he got from oganov was soul sapping. they say some fighters just shouldnt fight eachother, as it will turn them off fighting. both boys got a hiding that night.

oganovs desperation would have been from the refereeing, or lack of it. add to that the leather he took, and the win he should have got.....once again, bad officiating has ruined two fighters.

an early ko victory to oganov would have motivated him, and pitt goes back to the drawing board, to lick his wounds and rebuild his career. as it turned out, it was a murderous fight, exacerbated by crimminal refereeing, that pushed 2 boxers so hard neither have any motivation to go through it again.

good points Sally, Oganov hasnt fought again since that fight and tbh i dont blame him, he should be given an appology from the boxing authorities but instead these guys just burie their heads in the sand in hopes all will be forgoten about. The same thing could have occured with Burrage v Foley but Burrage didnt cop a floging that night he just got robbed in broad daylight with the referee assisting Foley in beating the 8 count and low and behold no coincidence it was the same fckn corner.

Refs in this country as well as officals favour certian trainers/promoters/matchmaker fighters. They want them to win , they want their sanction money and they want the prmoter to contuine putting on more shows with them so they throw them what id term a bone or two or three or four. its criminal at best and needs to be put to a stop. A parliment inqury is needed to pull the reins in of Boxing Australia, overhaul the entire system and **** off the boys club type mentality.

The best fighter should always win on the night, not the one whos favourd and looked after by refs and officals, it is ruining the sport both in the pros and amateurs and turns more and more people to MMA.

**** that means both Pitt and Forsyth our 2 most promising Cruiserweight prospects not long ago are done.:?
Hope he rediscovers his passion for boxing. Sad to see talent go to waste.
