I know the reaction from Edwards was over the top but really can't hold it against him. He worked hard for it and has the title would be hard not to get excited about it. The interview could of been a lot better from him.
to be fair he'd just won the british title, he said in the interview he'd give him a re-match, the damage was already tho but it wasnt his fault
if that happens it will be an extremly premature stoppage! simpson has an iron chin no way he gets stopped.
He could have done what any person with an ounce of class would have done and not jumped about the ring all smiles with his arms thrust being held up by his trainer. There was absolutely no merit in the result.
True, but there's sort of a code of honor in the sport where the true gents always show some contrition and say something to the effect of "I hate to end it like that, would rather not have the W". It's not so much what he said as what he didn't.
