Prime Tucker that is .Even an ageing Tony went the full way with Lennox .So which Lineal champ iyo stops him before the last Ding ?
Personal picks are Foreman and Frazier .

Lewis was green when he fought Tucker but Tony was extremely hard to KO, I don`t anybody doing it if a quickfisted puncher like Tyson couldn`t.

Does a prime Ali bust him up like he did Terrell? Not out of the realm of possibility. Even likely. But does that warrant a stoppage?

That's a possibility Seamus, but could even prime Ali ,who took twelve to stop Patterson ,do it ?
    Not sure tbh .

The only two I've got in mind ,as I said are Foreman and Frazier .Frazier wearing him down over the course of the fight but even that's not a absolute ,Joe couldnt put Oscar away .Foreman is so dangerous early ,he could hurt Tony ,shake him up and mid round move in for the kill .

Foreman, Marciano, Dempsey and Frazier in a 15 rounder are my picks

Louis might be able to pull off a late KO. Perhaps Shavers could land something crazy.

Maybe but I feel Tucker v Foreman would have been a good fight.

Shavers didn`t have as much savvy as Tyson and would be beat, Dempsey was too easy to hit with the jab and Tucker`s lead hand would be too long for him.

Shavers' Mac Truck right can put any man down

I'd at least favor the Dempsey that beat Willard clearly over Tucker. Dempsey was faster in those days and could slip a jab better. Just ask Fulton

I think that a finisher with a better inside game than Tyson, might well do better.

Liston would beat him up badly and get a stoppage IMO.

If Tucker avoided getting to hurt early by him and take him late in to the fight ..then there's a slight possibility of Tucker making it interesting and competitive .But not as bold to say he gets a win over a prime Foreman ..

Did I see Earnie Shavers name being mentioned earlier?

Have I somehow transported into an parallel universe where in this one, Larry Holmes was counted out after by knocked down by Shavers in their title fight and Shavers became the lineal heavyweight champ?

In the same instance you contradicted yourself.

Tyson was only a pro in his second year when facing Tucker...isn't that being green and he fought a PRIME Tucker unlike Lewis ? lol

    M. Tyson knocks out Tucker had they fought again in all likelihood .

    M. Tyson was the best finisher in the game if he had you hurt.

Better inside game would also require speed and not giving up to much height ,if this is the case guys like Frazier are going to have a real hard time fighting Tucker bc Fraziers defense and physical strength is no where near what that Tysons were, even if you think it is.
