I doubt Johnson would've got more than 20/25k...Noel Thornberry wasn't born yesterday.... been in the game for yonks
Dear ol' Ray Wheet Bix probably spread the 250k purse to encourage nongs to fight for IBF Australasian CRAP

Whys everyone worry about how much money was paid! who gives a ****! Alex gave it a go and thats all that matters. now he's got a rough idea where he stands in order to better prepare himself for his next tough fight!

as much chance as you quitting rolling boogies and chewin em...

as far as losses go, this one wasnt bad. in fact being relatively unhurt, stopped on his feet by the ref by tko, leaves alex undamaged, and more educated. it was no hoppa/mccall fight.

getting beaten by one of the worlds top heavies is no disgrace. in fact, it will give alex confidence in knowing what the very best can bring, and now he knows he can go with them. alex has one shot power. he could have won that fight, had he landed the shot.

no, not a bad loss at all. not when you are fighting the best.

my opinion would be to get another fight in about 6 weeks. take welliver up on his peanuts in china fight. ko the bum and steal his ranking....

well done alex. you stepped up mate. hold your head high. youve just made another step toward a world title.

My advice to Alex if he reads your stupid **** would be to place you on ignore at the earliest opportunity before your mouth gets him into trouble he can't handle , KEVIN JOHNSON ain't anywhere near the best in the world ya ****ing cabbage ,Alex has done well enough with the amount of talent he has but if you can't beat a guy like Johnson in your own back yard then your options at limited at the very highest level , sad but true , we all can dream but if i was Alex then i would be concentrating on getting a few fights together down under and maximizing my earnings for my family ( Maybe come up top to say here or Germany where some real cash can be earn't ) and possibly gain a Commonwealth title .

Whatever Alex decides good luck to the him and his family , Just cash in man from here on in it's a short enough career .

Great advice josey... And no matter what direction Alex takes from here in whichever fight he should always be able to hold his head high because he always brings it and goes to war regardless if he isn't the most talented he tests himself and this time came up short, hopefully he can get some decent cash on the future and Germany does seem to be the place to be, if mormeck could get a shot at the title its not out of the hands of anyone....
Also more importance should be placed on commonwealth title i would love to see Leapai vs sexton or someone that calibre

Hey guys thanks to every1 for their support & safe travels to Kevin Johnson & team...we're proud of Alex...we know what to work on & what is needed...Alex said he'll come back stronger & better is for it.Alex has ask for a rematch & KJ has accepted....KJ's coach said to me "send Noel & this kid to the States to have the right preparation & he'll become world champ hands down"....."he's got everything he needs, just need to fine tune it & advance it"...... blessing to hear it come from KJ's trainer & thank you.

LIONHEART will come back stronger on his next belt which is coming up soon & to pursue his dream for the World title....thanks & god bless

a fella that went to the fight yesterday said 'they sure named lionheart right'. he said alex showed a ton of guts, took some big shots to the head and kept at it. he aid alex always looked dangerous, even in the last round he landed a big shot..

you learn more from a loss than a win. alex will be a better fighter for the experience.

well done alex. you done yourself proud mate. even if you dont feel like it this morning..
