Much prefer Mansfield tavern always comes up good on tv but maybe doesn't have the capacity, I think the real issue is dollars and would it have drawn if it was on ppv, most disgraceful thing is this is prob the best heavyweight fight we've had in years yet not one fukn paper mentions it nothing no coverage yet that half assed boxer mundine gets pages upon pages anytime he fights, it shits me and we will all be.better for it when he retires

Just want to pass on my best to Team Lionheart. Hope Alex is healing well.

Nothing but respect for rolling the dice like you did. Good luck for the future.

Even at $19.95 this fight wouldn't have drawn diddly squat on PPV on TV. Up against Rugby League, AFL and V8 Supercars on a Sunday afternoon, good luck!

No one knows who Alex Leapai is outside of immediate boxing circles and maybe some local support and he's facing a journeyman US fighter (unknown here to anyone bar boxing people) and you think it "would have drawn" on PPV!

Mate, it got 842 buys at $9.40 on a dud internet streaming service and your trying to claim it would have drawn! :patsch

Your either mis understanding me or I'm not clear with what I'm saying probably the later, I was asking would it have drawn? The answer is prob not so we can't really complain about where or what it was broadcast as there was no money to be made from it as I said I much prefer Mansfield tavern for the fight

The Courier Mail ran a pretty big piece just inside the back page. Cameras from 7 and 9 were getting highlights and 9 were interviewing Leapai in the sheds post-fight. Not sure what the TV guys ended up broadcasting.

Not great coverage, but there probably would have been more if not for the Titans game down on the GC that arve.

Why did they hold the fight in a sheep shearing shed ?

Kevin Johnson can't punch and he stopped Leapai. Johnson only stops sub standard/journeyman/bum opponents. What does this say about Leapai ?
