Lipinets showed skills tonight. Tough fighter. Would you like to see a potential matchup between him and Loma? Would you watch?
Lipinets just stepped up to 147. Loma's highest weight is 135 and that is stretching it, so how do you consider this fight even a possibility? Because Loma is so dominant at his weight levels people are crazily constantly calling for him to fight much bigger opposition. Please.
Lipinets is decent but don't forget Peterson is pretty much spent at he top level, his legs are gone, he's 35 & inactive for over a year... Coming off a loss too! Solid B level guy Lipinets tho... He gave Garcia a decent nights work. I think the gulf in skills here would make up the size disparity. Great little man good big man.
Yes, but Mikey fought Lipinets at 140. Then Lipinets, like Mikey, moved up to 147. These guys are not going back down to where Loma is. And don't forget when Loma stepped into the pros he was already a mature fighter. He's not like Pacman or some of the others that started their careers 4 or 5 weight divisions from where they ended their careers. That is why the multi-weight champion is overrated. Yes, if you are not yet mature and continue to grow then you can take multiple weight divisions. But if you are already a grown man you do not have the ability to move up several weight divisions.
Same crap they pulled on GGG why don't he move up and fight Ward, Froch just a bunch of junk. He dominated the middleweight division for years fighting all comers at that weight but, the haters always try to look up a division or two to find someone they think can beat them. Then they think Loma is scared to fight a guy like Mikey or Tank come on!! The man is a Gold medalists a couple times over with over 400 amateur bouts you think he is scared get real,, same for GGG he had 345 plus amateur bouts against the best and he is scared of Canelo psh.... Canelo got the guts to fight a man his own size when GGG started to decline.... But long story short i agree with your comment lol sorry for the rant.
Well you’re last fight isn’t indicative of your next one, Porter looked drained to the limit as I said to @bandeedo and Spences next fight he beat the hell out of Garcia.
