    Khan vs Peterson for Khan

Throws amateur pitter patter flurries with no power.

shows his horrible footwork and lack of ability to fight on the inside.

I can't come up with anything better than the guy that said Winky vs Tito. That's dead on the money.

Yeah I gotta go with Hopkins - Pascal 1. Pascal is deceptively fast, when he moves around the ring he looks kind of slow but then he unleashes some blazing fast punches and Hopkins didn't even see them coming. In the mid rounds I think Hopkins figured Pascal out more then Pascal getting fatigued, since Jean didn't look like he was breathing very heavy and he didn't put out much offence to even get tired. Pascal was kind of running away from the fight in the later rounds and I don't believe it was because he was hurt, I don't know if he was hurt at all throughout the bout, I think it was because he had no idea what to do. He was mesmerized. Hopkins looking to slug it out in the last round to seal the deal on the road was the icing on the cake. Even though it was a draw I think it was a great performance by Hopkins.

My point wasn't to show a fighter's flaws, but the things that defined their style typically. The Paulie fight I mentioned on the previous fight is one I picked, for reasons I described there.

Khan's footwork isn't horrible, it simply lacks lateral dimension. His control of distance on the ground is his first line of defense, and he's only failed to apply it against a hungry world champion who utilized size and aggression to close the gaps (probably with the advantage of administered testosterone). When he sits down on his punches and steps into his jab, he's effective.

How about Abraham vs Taylor? Kind of a low output, not great footwork, good defense based on blocking, looking for a big shot and as usual he eventually found it.

Alexander vs Maidana, he threw combos then either clinched or dodged Maidanas hayemakers and clinched or got out of there fast and then repeat, he clinched a bit too much though

Yeah I was thinkin of that too but I don't think he is a ko guy he just managed to hurt Urango with the uppercut, think he only fought that aggressive bcause Urangos so slow, I see Alexander as a decision boxer

I actually think that fight is a good pick. Sure, the KO isn't always what Devon brings, but the way he fought was very telling of his style. Combinations from the outside, a loose rhythm on his feet, lots of grunts...the uppercut just shows that if you run carelessly into him, he has enough power to put you on the canvas.

If Alexander continues to improve, however, the Maidana fight might be his new identity. He sharpened a lot of dull tools in his game for that fight.

I see some great suggestions that I agree with and some of you guys are just plane ID10T's!

One that is getting over looked due to the boxers is:

    Joe Calzaghe vs. Jeff Lacy

Calzaghe showed from the opening bell his ability to take any style fighter out of their comfort zone and make them fight how he needs them to. Rapidfire punches (some say pitty pat but he messed Lacy's face up bad, bloody nose in 1 and on swole by 4) that he is trying to land everywhere.
Throw enough good punches to confuse your opponent!

    Mike McCallum vs Micheal Watson:

The Bodysnatcher patiently stalks a very respectable opponent behind, gradually applying more and more pressure as the fight progresses until Watson finally can't prevent the extended series of combinations that leave him crumpled in a heap in the later stages of the contest.

Was tempted to use the McCrory fight, but this was the performance that really epitomized just how formidable The Bodysnatcher could be once he got going.
