Good thread Illmatic!! I've enjoyed reading this one. Learning a thing or two is refreshing from reading people arguing lately.
The problem with in between weights are it is not as good as the original eight due to the fact taht its a bit watered down whereas an original weight you will be fighting guys you give or take 10 pounds to. A good example is PAc if he was a featherweight would fight guys from 122 to 130. Right now PAc aint fighting Chris John just because he is at 130 and if he moves to lightweight then even less of a possibility.\ A guy like DLH hes gotten titles at every in between weights of course his achievements will look great but those are the guys he should be fighting anyway. Only Fitzimmons and Armstrong have done it
Interesting case might be Emile Griffith, who won lineal, undisputed titles at WW and MW, but also fought for the "World jr. Middleweight" title (recognized only in Australia). Wonder if that would count...
