true, thats why i consider winning titles in 5 different weight classes not as big a feat as bigtime does. Anyone with good promotional influence can line up title fights against weak titleholders.
So? Hopkins only won @ one weight class and was atop. It's not crazy, you just put WAAY to much emphsis on belts rather then opponents. Just like the other newbies.... Fighters make the belts legit....Belts do NOT make the fighters legit. :deal
It's funny how today with politics TAKING belts from worthy champ, or bogus rankings by all the orgs, and SEVERAL belts per weight class (even from the same ORG *looking at you WBC*) people make a huge deal over belts. It's too watered down to be held as a criteria for greatness anymore.
my bad but pac is only a 2 weight world champion not sure how he got into this thread:blood wbc flyweight ibf super bantamweight
I'd sooner recognize the victory at 154lbs as a legitimate title win, since there hadn't been established linage ever since Wright moved up in weight. 140lbs was a title, but since Hatton was the recognized champ, this gets an asterik. 4 titles, and 3 championships, is pretty damned impressive, though.
I do? Actually I never paid much attention to titles. Note the reason I had to look up the tiles for Pacman and I realised he hasn't won a major title in awhile. Dumbass.
get real gatti was the WBC champ and had 2 solid title defenses under his belt. plus he had a 5 fight win streak going when he fought floyd. Gatti was the legitimate wbc champ at 140 not hatton.
Yeah, I'm sure fights don't make too much sense to you. Stick with it, even when Floyd retires, I'm sure you'll learn eventually.
I pointed out, I had to look up his boxrec because I had no clue what titles he had won. Yet you call me a boxrec warrior because of this? But then you try to say I put to much emphasis on the titles, yet I had to look up what titles he won. Dumbass.
