mayorga also seems like a top dude.
vargas seems like a ****. he thinks he somat he's not.

chris eubank is interesting, but a nice guy.
mike tyson is a top guy, just been treated a little unfairly, a victim of celebritism. but he confuses the **** out of me.
i watched a documentary of him, something glory, and by the end of it i was ****ing confused, i ended up with a headache!:nut i promised myself i will never watch that doc again. well i ended up watching it again to understand mike a little more but yet again i was left a confused sausage! :| :yikes
since then :nono

 

my general rule is that those who go out of their way to come across as 'class acts' are infact ****s, and vice versa.

I know somoene who's friend put a pool cue over that **** Hameds head for being a cheeky little ****....he's the most rotten person that ever boxed in my opinion, just a nasty, nasty little man. I think the pool cue incident led to a fight being cancelled but different reasons were given for the cancellation. Running away from a car crash that he caused where he almost killed a man tells you all you need to know about that little *******s persona.

Nicest boxer I ever met was Pat Cowdell, I know he's hardly a big name but there you go, I've met a few of the bigger names but Pat is just so down to earth and 'ordinary' it's unbelievable.

Antonio Tarver. Nice personality. Seriously. He sat down at our table for a good 10 minutes at the MGM grand during the Trinidad vs Wright fight. Not only is he cool but he's sharp.

Zab frequents the clubs and lounges my friend in NYC promotes. He's a nice guy, all in all.

most boxers are good with their fans...hockey players as well. I don't quite remember ever having a disappointing experience with boxers. These are probably the nicest boxers I've met.

i sometimes troll in rjj threads here, but i have nothing but respect for rjj the person. it all stems from him setting up that fund for G man making sure that his friend would at least do well financially. it speaks well about the mans character. also i've from the stuff i read here, he sounds like a cool guy.

guys like mayorga, toney otehr bad asses etc... are cool too from what i gather away from the camera. mayorga was begging vargas, oscar, trinidad, spinks for forgiveness for all the trash he talked about wives, mothers, families etc... guys like shane, floyd, tarver are nice guys as well from all accounts. the klit bros of course have doctorates, speak 4 languages, and are proactive in good causes, look to be stand up individuals.

it's guys like de la hoya who i'm suspicious about. all smiles in front of the camera, but seem to have a split personality away from it.
