List fighters at 140-147 u think can beat Keith "One Time" Thurman

Mayweather, Thats the only one i think of.

Thurman has showed alot of progression in his game. He knows how to cut off the ring, his footwork is good, his defense is underrated for sure. Speed is underrated also, boy can put some combos together. Power is probably the best at the weight right now, very dangerous for anybody!

I tried to think of who i would take against him.

Bradley - would box well but throws preety wild. I would say Thurman catchs him and finishes him which Ruslan didnt do.

JMM - would be a good fight. JMM is very smart and would counter punch the whole time but if Bradley can work him easily Thurman can also.

Pacquiao - Pac would get KO cold like the JMM fight IMO. hes to wide open when he throws those wild combos and Pac has been known to get hit by counters. I think Thurman is to strong for Pacquiao. Now I do think Pac's style could give Thurman some trouble for sure, and it could end up being a war. but that would be Pac's downfall, trading with a prime monster like that.

Lucas - the way Molina and Garcia was able to hit him with ease and drop him, Thurman could do that for sure. Matthysse would have a punchers chance and Thurman has been stunned (Like any fighter has) but thats always what u say about Lucas, when it doesnt happen he doesnt win. possibly both get dropped but Matthysse gets stopped and crazy fashion.

Maidana - almost the same as Lucas

Garcia - i love Garcia and hes one of my favorite fighters. not great in anything but solid all around. him and Thurman almost have the same style. both boxer punchers. would be a great fight, still lean towards Thurman.

I tried to think of fighters that can beat Thurman but what im seeing is greatness. People can say he hasnt fought anybody but that doesnt mean u can see the skill. the boxing ability, defense has got better, Power is danerous with great accuracy and the boy's handspeed is up there with the best. I feel Mayweather would still be him but would have to be on defense like no other.

Mayweather, Bradley and Pac. :deal

Thurman can punch but he isn't a good boxer like Floyd or Bradley. Don't get me wrong he can box just not as good as those two. As for Pac, Pac can punch and still has lots of speed which will put Thurman on defense mode. If Soto-Karass could hurt Thurman, Pac can too and worst.

Other than those 3, none at WW can beat Thurman. Any 140lbs will be too small for Thurman including Garcia and Matthysse.

anyway i think 147-154 would be more fitting, thurman will move up later on in his career.

In order of how they would handle him.

1. Mayweather - easy
2. Bradley - reasonably easy if he doesnt try and brawl like an idiot
3. Pacquiao - too skilled and would apply too much pressure. When you punch with Thurman he becomes more gunshy.
4. Garcia - this is a 50/50 but i could see Garcia out boxing Thurman and getting the decision.

Thruman in defense mode still counters with great accuracy. I love Pacvquiao but theres no way he could be able to handle those punches. if Bradley lands wild haymakers on him and he actually got stunned by Bradley, he would get KO cold, no doubt.

I like Bradley, he would have to fight a very very smart fight to win. I just dont see him getting it done

Thurman is massively overrated on here. There is nobody else I'd pick to beat him but do think he could be KO'd early against someone not that good.

 

Nobody beats Thurman easy expect for Mayweather.

I like Bradley guys but i dont see it. what does he do thats better then Thurman?? I think Thurman is way more accuract, faster, has better defense and has a way more power. I think bradley could get dominated.

pac just has no defense. can he drop Thurman...maybe (Hasnt had a KO in 4 years) but his defense is so leaky, he would get KO JMM style

Garcia is probably the cloest fight after Mayweather. i see them both having the same style

 

Mayweather, Marquez and Pacquiao would all beat him.

Thurman often gets tagged with shots he never saw coming and telegraphs his punches far too much. Mayweather, Marquez and Pacquiao would make him pay dearly.

 

massivley overrated??? BY who?? do u not see the power? the accuracy, defense is getting better, speed is up there with the best. I dont see that being overrated at all, hes probably underrated.

If Bradley can beat JMM rather easily i think Thurman can almost mirror that. Bradley is more experinced, in which u need for JMM and it would be close for awhile. I think Thurman KO's JMM.

Pac has no defense, he would get KO bad
