Can anyone come up win his 5 top wins ?
If you can do a full 10 that's even better !

    Obviously Michael Bentt is #1

Hide doesn't have any top wins, he beat 47 tomato cans, one medicore fighter, Bentt and one totally shot once good fighter, Tucker.

Hide’s resume is very lacking in quality wins. I do however feel that based on his style and physical tools from what I’ve seen, he was potentially better than his record suggests

I personally thought Hide had flashes of awesomeness, and would have done quite well in the WBA 80s.

Possibly yes. He was always in chizzled condition, fairly quick on his feet and showed he could box a little... And his punching power speaks for itself.

I really wanted to see Herbie Hide vs. Audley Harrison. Hide called out Audley from ringside when Harrison stopped Matthew Ellis. And Hide kind of started a riot at ringside.

That seemed like it would've made for a great grudge match. But then Hide lost. And it kind of disappeared.

Bent was really poor v Hide, it was a one sided fight.

Why the WBA? were WBA champs weaker than other titlists in the 80`s? Holmes had the WBA belt for a while and so did Tyson, Mike would have destroyed Hide with his eyes closed during the 80`s while Rooney was in his corner but Hide would have stood abetter chance against Tyson just after the Spinks fight, he looked poor v Bruno, Hide also would have done well against Holmes as he aged.
