List of Adameks potential opponents for Nov 2010

Lance Whitaker seem like the right choice - due to size and height.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Solis either - since they are both aiming at the Klits.

 

Seems to me that you like Adamek very much, Tua is no longer d fighter that he was, I'll say Solis is a better match for him, in d sense that he will need all his skill to survive and win a fight with d Cuban fatty.

 

Here's my view's on that list and Adamek

Solis-stay as far away from him as possible if you want a title shot don't go against this guy if he only half trains he'll beat Adamek\

Whitaker-easy win for Adamek

Sosnowski-easy win for Adamek

Jean Marc Mormeck-easy win for Adamek

Monte Barrett-didn't he retire. If not if he fights Adamek the way he fought Tua this match is a toss-up. If not he loses.

 

Of course he would be ridiculed!! He said he was going to rip both Klitschkos heads off, he said he was going to destroy and knock out big Valuev in an action packed fight. He said he was going to save the HW division from what it has become.

What has he done??

1) Ducked Wladimir

2) Ducked Vitali

3) Was given a gift against Valuev in the most boring fight of the century, that Valuev should of won, or at LEAST given a draw.

4) Beat a tired and washed up Ruiz who was fighting a different fight then his successful bear hold style.. this was his most impressive accomplishment at HW, which isnt saying much. :deal


Adamek out does him as far as accomplishments at HW go after the Arreola fight, not even taking Grant into consideration, who by the way came to fight last week. And he did it all without talking, without screaming and yelling. And he did it in an exciting and ballsy style, and has come up against the odds of what people expected. Haye? The complete opposite. He has fell short with EVERYTHING he has done or promised to do at HW, and proven to be nothing more then a fraud thus far. He only has himself to blame.

Haye has fought 2 times in this past year, while Adamek is now going to be fighting his 5th time, in preperation for a shot at the titles, the same shots Haye was OFFERED, but DUCKED... after calling them both out no less. atsch

 

Despite the fact that this thread is supposed to be about Adameks potential opponents. Let's not get crazy here. David Haye is the WBA Heavyweight Champion Adamek does not currently hold one of the four major Heavyweight Titles so based on that alone Haye has accomplished more as a Heavyweight.

 

Whitaker is actually the easiest mark of those names, even though he's the biggest. However I would prefer if Adamek gives up the idea of fighting a Klit (or just fights one, gets beat, and gets it out of his system). I'd rather see a fight with someone his own size, like Mormeck.

Mormeck or Sosnowski would be good fights. Mormeck is past-it but he's got a big fan base still, and he's a great scalp for Adamek and would surely put on an entertaining performance.

Sosnowski is not an easy fight for Adamek...that's a pick'em and potentially very exciting. Sosnowski's got like 20 pounds on Adamek but he has to get past the cheen.

An in-shape Solis would be a huge test for Adamek, but I think if Solis is over 260 Adamek could possibly evade Solis and get the UD. If Solis is under 260 then it's not a great match for Tomasz.

Adamek wouldn't have serious issues with Monte Barrett, unless he fights risky.

 

Are you sure about this list?? Monte is officially retired. And none of these guys save Solis (and maybe maybe Whitaker) would be nothing more than a stay busy fight which would provide no prep to a title fight as Adamek claims he is seeking.

 

Sosnowski will not be a huge fight in Poland, it will no sell there. If this is made, then it will be in Prudential Center in Newark

 

As I read in interview, Adamek wants an easy fight (so there Sosnowski would be a very good fight) in November or December and then fight Klitschko in March or April

I agree. Haye has accomplished more (won belt) while Adamek is more proven (fought younger fighters and different styles)

 

Adamek will get a big money fight with one of the Klitschkos next year. So he'll take a winnable fight or two until then and make some money and get acclimated to the bigger guys. He'll probably look for the easiest options that have some name value but he won't risk the big money title shot against anyone too threatning.

Solis- forget it, he's too dangerous for Adamek to risk his shot with.

Whitaker- if he would have blown out Grant then Whitaker would be a perfect candidate, but now I'm not so sure, one thing Whitaker does better than Grant is hit and a guy like Whitaker could be too risky right now. Grant had Adamek in trouble but Whitaker could finish him off. I'd be a bit surprised if he fights Whitaker next.

Sosnowski- fight makes sense with Adamek drawins a large Polish crown in New Jersey, Sosnwoski could help with that angle and he isn't a huge threat.

Mormeck- I don't think they would pay enough for Mormeck to come over here and face Adamek. I can't see this being his next fight.

Barrett- him and Sosnowksi seem the two most likely candidates. Even with the Tua draw Barrett is done and Adamek would probably stop Barrett. Barrett is a somewhat safe opponent who has some name recognition.

 

There's a huge hole in fighting Mt. Goofi... Adamek already outclassed Estrada who schooled Whitaker over 10 rounds as recently as '08 and Whitaker quite recently was also outpointed by Oliver McCall's ghost. So how exactly is Whitaker good preparation for a Klitschko? Even Dimitrenko is better for Adamek then Whitaker (and we all know how well Dimitrenko prepared Chambers).

 

I'm guessing it will be Sonowski. Big money, lots of fans.

Out of these, I prefer Sosnowski. He gave a good showing vs VK, and is actually rated by the WBC (belt Adamek should target, as VK is retiring soon).

Otherwise, I would take Mormeck for the name recognition.
