Because fighting bigger opponents for less money is always the best option

When will people realize that is what everybody does? They follow the money. Pacquiao gave the most deserving fighter a shot didn't he? Rios earned that one the hard way. Angulo earned the Canelo shot the hard way as well. They did it because it made sense from a career standpoint, which leads to more money in the longrun.

This is a business now more than a sport. All fighters do it if they are good enough at what they do. The ones who don't are the ones who don't have the option to. It is their job, not their hobby. Everybody would do this at their job.

    Get over it

Same thing can be said about Mayweather.....

Floyd Mayweather jr OFFERED Manny Pacquiao $40 million with NO PPV SHARE, knowing that Pacquiao was still contracted with BOB ARUM.

I thought Mayweather jr doesn't want to fight Manny Pacquiao unless he leaves Bob Arum/Top Rank?

Take out the Top Rank/HBO fighters and the only one who makes sense is Danny Garcia. Nobody else on that list makes promotional sense

If you are going to ask Mayweather to move up to fight guys WAY bigger than him then there needs to be big money. If not, get on with it. Floyd is a welterweight. When he moves up in weight, he still weighs welterweight. If you want him to put himself at a big disadvantage, put the big money out there.

How does Lara make sense from any angle for him? Or Carlos Molina, thats a good one.

    Answer this question,

Did those come out from Manny Pacquiao's mouth or BOB ARUM? :deal

Don't forget Mayweather jr is his OWN Boss,

    - ''Pacquiao, Yes you're next!'', during Ortiz-Mayweather conference.

    - ''Pacquiao is a ''HAS BEEN'' he has LOSSES''

    - "The only way he's getting the fight with me is if he signs with Mayweather Promotions. He's got to give me fights with Mayweather Promotions. If he don't give me no fights under Mayweather Promotions, then he's not getting the fight''.

    - ''WBC made Pacquiao the number 1 mandatory to fight me, he can have the belt''
