It's funny how sparring doesn't matter, but you never hear of James Toney, Floyd Mayweather , Golovkin, and a bunch of other top fighters getting dropped.

I searched for how many people had dropped Price in sparring or competitive matches, the result was:

Price is a nice guy to be fair, and I would love him to be competitive. Its as shame that a guy that bang like him cannot take the same back. He is defo one of the big hitters in the HW division.

How nice can a fully grown and well experienced fighter be if they look to beat up and KO novices in the gym?

 

you could flip that on its head and say that novices are only gonna learn from sparring with guys that are better than them though? Those guys were not forced to step in the ring with him.

 

You don't learn much when the skill gap is as wide as it was when he was knocking out novices in what are supposed to be trainings sessions. It benefits nobody unless you think Price needed that for his confidence.

As I said they guys were not forced in the ring to be fair, they went in on their own accord. I am 100% certain that if I entered a ring with Mayweather then I would learn something about the game.
