Fights that were prime vs prime, or where the less prime/older/smaller fight beats the prime fighter.

    However, none of the below:

-Fight night weight disparity ("Heavyweight" Haney vs Loma - where Haney "beat" the far smaller guy)
-Inactivity (for example, Spence vs Crawford where Spence had 1 fight before in 2.5 years)
-Dragging a fighter up in weight (Canelo dragging 140lber Khan up to 160lbs)
    -Rehydration clauses (Mayweather draining Canelo).
-Giving fighter a short camp (Smith's short camp against Canelo)
-Referee protecting the winning fighter with his life .
    Etc.
Basically where the fight is on as even terms as possible.

These immediately pop up for me:

    Duran beating Leonard
    - Lightweight beat skillful Welterweight. One of the best prime vs prime fights I can think of.

Ali beating Foreman - Foreman was prime, Ali was not prime but still good beating the undefeated olympian. That said, the stoppage seemed premature to me. No time in the round and Foreman gets on his feet.

Fury beating Wilder (fight 1) - not officially a win, but widely deemed to be so. Fury coming off coke/wild boar meat to defeat Wilder. I do think the fact Fury was 40lbs heavier than Wilder a bit mad though. Just because you are over 200lbs does not mean you won't feel that advantage against you.

Shane Mosely v Oscar De la Hoya in their first fight. High amounts of action, excellent skills displayed by both.

    Pretty much never in boxing.

But some that come to mind.

The fights between PAC/MAB/EM and Pac/JMM

    Hoya v Tito
    Hoya v Mosley
    Mosley v Forrest
    Hopkins v Tito
    Jones Jr v Toney
    Crawford v Spence
    Mayweather v Hatton
    Gonzalez/Estrada/Wangek

In fact there's been a fair few I can remember. I retract my first sentence.

Wilder vs Fury 2 you mean, Fury was not in shape the first fight, there’s no way he could have recovered in 9 months from the epic alcohol and coke binge he had.

Jones Jr vs Toney and Ward Kovalev come to mind for prime v prime fights.

Crawford Vs Spence was not in anyway on fair terms or close to having no issues. Spence had one fight in 2.5 years (1 fight 18 months lrior against old Ugas who almost KOd him), he came in visibly drained and performed worse than any other opponent Crawford has fought at 147lbs. This was almost certainly a cash out from Spence who wasn’t close to 50 let alone 100%

Mayweather dragged Hatton up to 147lbs (who performed terribly against Collazo before moving back down to 140lbs) and had the ref protecting his ass the whole fight.

Pbf didn't drag up Hatton to 147 clown. Hatton turned down pbf when both were at 140 dummy. Pbf moved up became the champ Hatton called him out moved up to 147 fought Collazo and then they fought the next fight. Facts don't matter to trolls like you.

Spence was the driving force in the negotiations. Until this point he'd refused to consider Crawford getting an even split so the fight didn't happen.

Hatton wanted the Mayweather fight. He was bang in his prime.

Regardless, referring back to my previous comments Spence was the shell off himself
No he wasn’t. At all. Go watch him Vs Collazo . He went up to 147 then after looking terrible went straight back down to 140. Tempted by the Megabucks Mayweather he jumped straight back up to 147

Are you telling me Hatton looked good at 147lbs when he fought Collazo then didn’t move back down to 140lbs?
