List of horrible refereeing jobs that rarely get mentioned as being terrible

Kenny Bayless on Amir vs Danny fight.
Khan was completely out after the very first KD and was given, if I remember correctly, a 20 sec. count. Wasn't supposed to go on after that.
The actual stoppage was also odd. Seemed like Khan was aware, but Bayless wanted to balance out his earlier mistake.

The ref for Maccarenelli vs Frenkel

 

While it's rare that he turns in a bad performance, Steve Smoger in the Roy Jones Jr vs Denis Lebedev fight. Near the end of the last round of the fight, Lebedev pressures Jones near the corner and lands a flurry of punches, with a big right hook around Jones' guard that had Jones out on his feet. Jones was bent over completely but still standing despite being out, and so Smoger was hesitant to rush in because he couldn't tell that Roy was gone due to Roy bending over. As a result, Lebedev landed one more big right hook to Roy's head with Roy in a helpless position and Roy went down completely limp and was out for 5-7 minutes in a scary scene.

 

The reffing in Hopkins-Pascal II wasn't very good. Not horrible, but overall it was poor.

 

Russell Mora was absolutely horrific in Mares vs Agbeko I, he let Mares throw several dozen obvious low blows without so much as a warning, and when Mares floored Agbeko with a hard shot directly into his cup in the 11th round, Mora called it a knockdown. Mares should have had at least 3 points deducted, and if he wouldn't have been DQ'd previously, that 11th round "knockdown" should have DQ'd him right there. Mora should have been subsequently barred from refereeing again until completing some sort of re-education program.
